About the Asian Journal of Psychiatry

The Asian Journal of Psychiatry is the official Journal of the Asian Federation of Psychiatric Associations. It is a general and comprehensive Journal of psychiatry for psychiatrists, mental health clinicians, neurologists, physicians, students of mental health and those involved in mental health policy developments.

The Journal aims:

  • To be the premier voice of psychiatric research and development in the Asian continent.
  • To offer opportunities for psychiatrists in Asia and the world to share innovations and discoveries in improving psychiatric care across Asia in the English language.

A unique feature of the Journal is the Asian Pearls section; synopses of research highlights from selected papers with the aim to raise awareness of Asian non-English literature to the international readership.
